In an exclusive interview with The New Paper, the 24-year-old beauty queen with a 34B-24-33 figure, admitted that she had her bosom augmented.

She also revealed that she had botox treatment to make her face look slimmer, said the TNP report on Tuesday.

Sexiest show in town

THOSE Victoria's Secret babes know how to put on a cracking show.

Korean model found dead

SEOUL - A TOP South Korean model who was a fixture at fashion week in Paris and London was found dead at her apartment in Paris, an official said on Friday.

Ms Daul Kim, 20, was found dead on Thursday by French police, a Foreign Ministry official in Seoul said. The official declined to provide further details and asked not to be named, citing ministry policy.

Media reports called it an apparent suicide, but officials have not confirmed the cause of death. Her Seoul agency, Esteem, said her family and agency officials were heading to Paris.

Raised in Seoul and Singapore, Ms Kim modelled in Asia before making her fashion week debut in Paris in 2007, modelling for Chanel, Dries van Noten and Maison Martin Margiela, among others, her agency said. She became a fashion week regular in New York, Milan, Paris and London and most recently appeared during Seoul fashion week in October, according to Esteem.

Known for her thick mane of hair - sometimes dyed blond - and her quirky sensibility, the 5-foot-10 (178-centimetre) model was celebrated for her sense of style. She was featured recently in a commercial for designer Christopher Kane's line of clothing for British retailer Topshop.

Ms Kim also was an accomplished painter and video filmmaker who had a solo show of her artwork in Seoul. She often listed 'collecting forks' as a hobby. Bloggers in South Korea mourned her death, speculating she felt the pressure of high-fashion modelling and a loss of identity. -- AP

Soldier becomes new Miss England

Lance Corporal Katrina Hodge has become the new Miss England after Rachel Christie stepped down following her arrest over an alleged nightclub brawl.

A statement from Miss England organisers said Miss Christie, 21, had stepped down as she wanted to concentrate on clearing her name.

It was later announced that L/Cpl Hodge, who was first runner-up in the 2009 national contest, has become the new Miss England.

She has been decorated for remaining calm under fire.

So Lance Corporal Katrina Hodge is the perfect choice to take on the embattled Miss England crown.

The 22-year-old soldier - nicknamed Combat Barbie - was handed the title after her predecessor Rachel Christie was forced to give it up following a nightclub brawl.


Lance Corporal Hodge, who has been decorated for her time in Iraq with the Royal Anglian Regiment, came runner-up to Miss Christie, niece of Olympic sprinter Linford Christie.

She will now represent the country in next month's Miss World contest in South Africa.

Miss Christie, 21, was accused of punching beauty queen Sara Beverley Jones in the face following a row over her boyfriend.

Trouble apparently flared after 24-year-old Miss Jones - the current Miss Manchester - showed Miss Christie an intimate text message, which she claimed had been sent by Miss Christie's boyfriend, David McIntosh.

Mr McIntosh - better known as Tornado on the TV's Gladiators - had previously dated Miss Jones.

After reading the message, Miss Christie, an athlete who hopes to compete in the heptathlon in the 2012 Games, is alleged to have 'flipped' and hit Miss Jones 'several times'.

Following the incident at Manchester's Mansion club, Miss Jones was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Miss Christie's spokesman said of the incident, which took place at around 1am on Monday: 'She can't go through to Miss World with this hanging over her. She is devastated by what has been alleged but we are supporting her.'

Miss Christie - the first black woman to be crowned Miss England - pledged to be a role model when she won the title last July.

She said at the time: 'My main focus in winning Miss England is to show black kids that they can be whatever they want to be.

'If they sit moaning and being negative, they won't get on.'

Miss Asia crown

Dance instructor Xu Ying, 21, was crowned the queen of this year's Miss Asia Pageant 2009 in Hong Kong on Sunday.

She walked away with the crown and other prizes worth over HK$2 million (RM889,300).

Xu, from Anhui, China, also won herself a television artiste contract with ATV (Asia Television Limited).

Wang His Yao, a 26-year-old purchasing manager emerged first runner-up while Taiwan undergraduate Hsu Chia Huei, 21, was second runner-up.

In 1995, the contest rocked the beauty pageant industry for when the then 48-year-old Gong Xuehua was picked among the finalists.

This year’s competition was also mired in controversy with the programme drawing criticism over complaints that the organiser had resorted to "promoting flesh" to boost ratings.

It was aired-live in Hong Kong, competing with rival television station, TVB, which broadcast the Super Trio Supreme Battles Against Beautiful Cooking - a special programme based on two popular game shows.

In a move to win the ratings war, the station made the 12 finalists wear ‘see-through angel costumes’ and other sexy dresses at the event.

On its official website, ATV has announced that more than 850,000 audiences had watched the event, two-times more compared to last year.

Waka Inoue releases 2010 calendar

TOKYO — Bikini model-turned-actress Waka Inoue, 29, was at the Fukuya bookstore in Ginza this week to promote her 2010 calendar, and shook hands with her fans who had applied for the special tickets last month.

The calendar doesn’t have any shots of her in a bikini this time, but there is one of her rolling around in bed with the sheets, and other photos feature her in dresses which reveal her curves and thighs. She said: “This was my last photo shoot in my 20s, and will be my first calendar for my 30s. I want people to focus on the adult in me coming out.”
